Forever Mine (The Moreno Brothers #1)
I am confused. I liked the book in bits and pieces. It is light hearted romance novel. It's not bad but there is nothing breath-taking about it either.SARAHSarah is either too naive or just plain stupid. Everyone warned her about that coach yet she went with him alone to a secluded place. I mean she almost gets herself raped by that pervert. Being a "damsel in distress" is not cool anymore.Sometimes it makes sense but here it didn't. I like it better when the female character is strong and can

What made this book for me were the supporting characters. I loved the humor of Angel's older brother Alex, his two bffs Eric and Romero and the straight forwardness of Sarah's cousin Valerie. I didn't like that the author made Sarah too naive, or giving someone the benefit of the doubt, towards the end of the book. You'll see what I mean. I wanted to reach through the book and smack her upside the head. I did like that this book was done in 2 POVs, Sarah's and Angel's. Sarah and Angel have a
Angel, Sarah, and Sydney... A love triangle or one huge miscommunication? Although the readers know from the get go that miscommunication was the case, Angel had no idea. That left my heart hurting for him. I loved this story! It was a great way to start of the Moreno Brothers series! A must read for everyone (and don't just stop with this novel because all of Elizabeth's novels are truly amazing)

Chronicle Supposing Books Forever Mine (The Moreno Brothers #1)
Seventeen-year old Sarah’s life is turned upside down when her single mom is sent to jail. She’s forced to move, leaving behind everything she’s ever known, including her best friend Sydney. Lost and bitter in a new school, her one goal is to save money and move back home. Then she meets Angel Moreno. Enigmatic but gorgeous, Angel is almost too good to be true. Except for one thing, his archaic belief that guys and girls can never be “just friends”. The problem? Sarah’s best friend Sydney is not a girl. With their unexpected romance intensifying to places neither ever experienced, how long can Sarah keep Angel in the dark about the guy waiting for her back home? This is probably one of the cutest books I've read in a long time. This is my first book by Elizabeth Reyes, but I've already started on the second book in this series & have bought the rest of them. This book brought back soooo many high-school memories (some good & some bad), and truly made me feel like I was friends with the characters in this book. The good: I truly fell in love with Reyes' characters (I would love a Moreno man of my own). Like I said before, the author really makesI am confused. I liked the book in bits and pieces. It is light hearted romance novel.
