Description During Books The Unwritten Rule

Everyone knows the unwritten rule: You don’t like your best friend’s boyfriend. Sarah has had a crush on Ryan for years. He’s easy to talk to, supersmart, and totally gets her. Lately it even seems like he’s paying extra attention to her. Everything would be perfect except for two things: Ryan is Brianna’s boyfriend, and Brianna is Sarah’s best friend. Sarah forces herself to avoid Ryan and tries to convince herself not to like him. She feels so guilty for wanting him, and the last thing she wants is to hurt her best friend. But when she’s thrown together with Ryan one night, something happens. It’s wonderful... and awful. Sarah is torn apart by guilt, but what she feels is nothing short of addiction, and she can’t stop herself from wanting more...

Reading Perfect You is sad, reading this book is sadder. I lost count on how many times my tears shed, it was really a sad read. I understand the feeling of being in one's shadow, but at least I didn't always get reminded of that. Brianna is a b****, and I don't get why Sarah would tolerate her, yes I pitied her because her parents treated her as a 'thing', shoving her aside and not loving her, but she is doing exactly what her parents are doing to her by doing it to Sarah, only in a more

Sarah has been best friends with Brianna since they met in kindergarten and Brianna saved Sarah from the clutches of a five-year-old Mean Girl. Ever since, Sarah has been Brianna's sidekick. But there's one thing Sarah's never told Brianna - how she feels about Brianna's boyfriend Ryan. Sarah has liked Ryan since the eighth grade, but now Ryan and Brianna are together and Sarah knows that she can never tell Brianna her true feelings. Except that... Ryan and Sarah kissed. And now Sarah's falling

I really am disappointed. When I read "The Unwritten Rule," I feel like I'm watching "Something Borrowed" all over again. Still it has one humongous difference in it; that's fun. There is no fun in this book at all ... as boring as hell. The story is like something I don't expect at all. I think I it must be fresh and fun; however, it doesn't. FYI, I really dig this type of story but not in this book. "The Unwritten Rule" is focused on love triangle between Ryan, Sarah and Brianna and in my

There are a million rules for being a girl. There are a million things you have to do to get through each day. High school has things that can trip you up, ruin you, people say one thing and mean another, and you have to know all the rules, you have to know what you can and can't do. The Unwritten Rule by Elizabeth ScottThis was an interesting story. It's one that is pure YA..but in a good way!As others have said, this concerns a high school girl named Sara who is secretly in love with her best

One thing right at the beginning: Im a huge fan of Elizabeth Scott. So this rating might be influenced a tiny bit by that ;). All in all, I really enjoyed The Unwritten Rule, but when compared to Scotts other YA romance novels, it is probably the weakest. It was a quick read and definitely kept my attention, but it wasnt particularly memorable when I look back at it now. I probably wont go back to re-read it as Ive done with Bloom, Perfect You or Something Maybe and it doesnt have the original

The Unwritten Rule is a classic story of girl likes best friends boyfriend and he likes her.To be honest I wasn't sure what I was expecting before I got into this one, thinking that the girl just betrayed her best friend and hooked up with her boyfriend. But as the story went on I realized that Brianna is NOT a best friend.Okay, I know that what Sarah did wasn't right and I don't think cheating is okay, at all, but I think this was the first time I actually applauded it. I can't find myself
